Laurie Hurley, President and Founder of Bright Apple Tutoring wants you to be well informed when  making a decision about finding a tutor for your child(ren).  Being a local company servicing Ventura and North Los Angeles Counties for several years, Laurie is knowledgeable about most things related to education, regardless of whether your child attends a private or public school or is home schooled or on an independent study program.

This blog is being introduced in July, 2009, a critical time for our schools, as the state budget is cutting more and more monies from the local schools. Class size is increasing, excellent teachers are leaving the districts and many important supplemental programs are being discontinued.

As you shop around for a tutor, keep in mind that our tutoring is tailored specifically to your child’s needs.  We come to you and Laurie personally will match a tutor that will design a unique program, based on the school’s curriculum to  help your child succeed.
